The Municipal Library in Prague collects personal data for the purpose of demonstrating proper and effective use of the funds provided for the implementation of the project. The administrator of personal data is the Ministry of Culture. MKP keeps a copy of the documents for 10 years from the end of the project.
The project is concentrated on educating and developing human capital in the creative and cultural sectors. It supports managers and coworkers from various cultural institutions getting to know one another, builds reciprocal relationships, and facilitates the sharing of professional experiences across cultural lines.
By educating managers of cultural institutions as well as individuals working in culture, we intend to help them consistently and routinely improve their managerial, digital, financial and communication skills.

Basic cybersecurity issues
Annotation: Basic concepts, principles of password creation, stolen identities, personal data protection, defense against fraudulent practices, introduction to the world of cybercrime.

XML – a basic course
Annotation: The course is designed for anyone who wishes to learn the fundamentals of the XML language and the technologies it relates to. You will learn about ideas like namespace, XML schema, XML document validation, transformations, going through the “tree“ view, and how to use the fundamental tools needed to work with XML documents in this course.

What about company culture
Annotation: How corporate culture impacts employee behaviour, how it relates to the institution´s performance, how to start developing it gradually so that it becomes an ideal platform for innovation, change, and human synergy, how to avoid common mistakes, and how to learn to approach the development of company culture effectively.

Effective communication
Annotation: The seminar will give attendees the skills they need to become effective “communicators“. They learn to pay attention to what other people are actually saying, including things they might not even be aware of. When we communicate, we do not always deliver the full message; certain details are kept secret, while others are misrepresented or generalized. For this reason, misunderstandings and misunderstandings occur in interpersonal communication.

Copyright Act - after amendment from January 5, 2023
Annotation: The aim of the seminar is to introduce the participants to the most recent amendment to the Copyright Act No. 429/2022 Coll., effective from January 5, 2023. The amendment implemented two copyright directives from 2019 and brought a number of changes relating in particular to digital platforms, periodical publishers, but also libraries, museums and galleries.

Financial management for non-financial managers
Annotation: Intended for responsible managers without a background in economics or for managers who do not apply their prior financial education in their day-to-day work. Participants will become acquainted with the fundamental information that accounting statements provide about the organizational processes. On this foundation, an understandable explanation of the fundamental economic ideas, rules, and practices of corporate economics will be provided, along with a broad review of the company´s financial management.
